South–South & Triangular Cooperation Climate Initiative Policy Dialogue Report

The United Nations in Türkiye proposed the establishment of a Türkiye-anchored SSC/TC Climate Cooperation Initiative, positioning Türkiye as a regional and global hub for climate cooperation, technology exchange and partnership building. As an initial step, the UN in Türkiye, the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion, and TİKA co-organized a High-Level Policy Dialogue on 22 July 2026 in Ankara, convening approximately 80 participants, governments, development partners, international financial institutions, UN entities, academia, civil society and the private sector, to identify
concrete opportunities for collaboration ahead of COP31.
