Project aims to improve access of rural refugees to health and protection services.
In collaboration with Ministry of Health Turkey, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Turkey, is implementing “Health to Rural, Support to Rural” project which aims to improve access of rural refugees to health and protection services. Orientation and capacity building training of project field staff was conducted between 18—22 November 2019 in Istanbul.
The training was coordinated by UNFPA Turkey and Ministry of Health where plenary and parallel sessions was organized for physicians, nurses, social workers, interpreters, health mediators and drivers in line with the scope and purpose of the project as well as their terms of reference. A total of 83 project staff completed the training in addition to observers from Ministry of Health.
