Operational update - 12 September 2022 - Black Sea Grain Initiative/Joint Coordination Centre

12 September 2022, ISTANBUL – The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) authorised today the movement of seven outbound vessels carrying a total of 213,243 metric tons of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
The seven commercial vessels authorised to move tomorrow, 13 September, are:
1) CAPTAIN DIMITRIOS (IMO 9221592) from Yuzhny/Pivdennyi to Tarragona, Spain, carrying 65,000 metric tons of corn.
2) YASA TEAM (IMO 9296250) from Yuzhny/Pivdennyi to Israel, carrying 64,951 metric tons of corn.
3) SUPER SAKA (IMO 9456551) from Odesa to Tarragona, Spain, carrying 29,000 metric tons of wheat and 21,000 metric tons of corn.
4) FANARIA (IMO 9228241) from Odesa to Spain, carrying 18,000 metric tons of wheat.
5) PROPUS (IMO 9133757) from Odesa to Bandirma, Türkiye, carrying 8,500 metric tons of corn.
6) ATA OCEAN (IMO 9519614) from Yuzhny/Pivdennyi to Iskenderun, Türkiye, carrying 6,300 metric tons of sunflower oil.
7) GREIFSWALD (IMO 8311912) from Chornomorsk to Karasu, Türkiye, carrying 492 metric tons of corn.
In addition, one more vessel, whose scheduled departure today was delayed, is expected to move tomorrow: SAFFET AGA (IMO 9376282) from Odesa to Bandirma, Türkiye, carrying 3,300 metric tons of soya beans.
Destinations indicated are based on information received at the JCC and may change based on commercial activity. Grains that reach a destination may go through processing and be trans-shipped to other countries.
As of 12 September, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 2,721,168 metric tons. A total of 269 voyages (147 inbound and 122 outbound) have been enabled so far.
The JCC concluded today eleven inspections on the following vessels: three inbound vessels, BARACUDA (IMO 7514440), GENOA (IMO 9805659), and NIZAR (IMO 8324751), and eight outbound vessels, CAPTAIN ADAM 1 (IMO 8914087), DIGNITY (IMO 9118238), FILYOZ (IMO 9407213), JASMIN QUEEN (IMO 9109861), KAPTAN CEVDET (IMO 9005895), ORIS PRINCESS (IMO 9119907), SANTANA (IMO 9449388), and SEAGUARDIAN (IMO 9174268).
The joint teams plan twelve inspections tomorrow on seven inbound and five outbound vessels.
As per procedures agreed at the JCC, all participants coordinate with their respective military and other relevant authorities to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
The JCC monitors closely the passage of commercial vessels through the maritime humanitarian corridor.
