Joint Coordination Centre Operational Update (1 September)

1 September 2022, ISTANBUL – The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) authorised today the movement of eight outbound vessels carrying a total of 158,075 metric tons of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The eight commercial vessels authorised to move tomorrow, 2 September, are:

1) NORD VIRGO (IMO 9711937) from Yuhzny/Pivdennyi to Huangpu, China, carrying 62,340 metric tons of corn.

2) STELLA GS (IMO 9363285) from Odesa to Haifa, Israel, carrying 30,300 metric tons of corn.

3) KATSUYAMA (IMO 9274678) from Chornomorsk to Haldia, India, carrying 21,000 metric tons of sunflower oil.

4) MAVKA (IMO 9284647) from Chornomorsk to Constanta, Romania, carrying 12,500 metric tons of sunflower oil.

5) FULMAR S (IMO 9370082) from Yuhzny/Pivdennyi to Varna, Bulgaria, carrying 9,835 metric tons of sunflower meal.

6) SPRING (IMO 8408650) from Chornomorsk to Iskandarun, Türkiye, carrying 8,500 metric tons of wheat.

7) CANGA STAR (IMO 9540039) from Chornomorsk to Brest, France, carrying 7,000 metric tons of rapeseed.

8) MUBARIZ IBRAHIMOV (IMO 9575292) from Odesa to Tekirdag, Türkiye, carrying 6,600 metric tons of sunflower oil.

In addition, one more vessel whose scheduled departure today was delayed is expected to move tomorrow: AFANASIY MATYUSHENKO (IMO 8227783) from Chornomorsk to Tekirdag, Türkiye, carrying 3,000 metric tons of wheat.

Destinations indicated are based on information received at the JCC and may change based on commercial activity.

As of 1 September, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 1,677,396 metric tons. A total of 146 voyages (78 inbound and 68 outbound) have been enabled so far.

The JCC concluded today eight inspections: on one inbound vessel SUPER HENRY (IMO 9407483) and on seven outbound ASH BALTIC (IMO 9606493), FPMC B 201 (IMO 9468229), MICHALIS (IMO 9545510), PEACE M (IMO 9086318), SAFFET AGA  (IMO 9376282), S BREEZE (IMO 9317145), and SEAJOY (IMO 9213820). All eight vessels were cleared to sail.

The joint teams plan eight inspections tomorrow on inbound vessels: BRIZA (IMO 9286815), EAUBONNE (IMO 9663104), ELIANA (IMO 9327310), FILYOZ (IMO 9407213), KIRAN AMERICA (IMO 9491264), PRINCESS AMNAH (IMO 9008067), SANTANA (IMO 9449388), SEAGUARDIAN (IMO 9174268), and SUPER SAKA (IMO 9456551),

As per procedures agreed at the JCC, all participants coordinate with their respective military and other relevant authorities to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The JCC monitors closely the passage of commercial vessels through the maritime humanitarian corridor.
