Joint Coordination Centre Operational Update (30 August)

30 August 2022, ISTANBUL – The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) authorized today the movement of three outbound vessels carrying a total of 107,000 metric tons of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
The three commercial vessels authorized to move tomorrow, 31 August, are:
1) MARAN ASTRONOMER (IMO 9581239) from Yuhzny/Pivdennyi to Spain, carrying 74,500 metric tons of corn.
2) LADY AILLAR (IMO 9550278) from Yuhzny/Pivdennyi to Tarragona, Spain, carrying 27,000 metric tons of corn.
3) HAZAR S (IMO 9545467) from Chornomorsk to Bandirma, Türkiye, carrying 5,500 metric tons of corn.
In addition, AFANASIY MATYUSHENKO (IMO 8227783) from Chornomorsk to Tekirdag, Türkiye, carrying 3,000 metric tons of wheat delayed its scheduled departure of today to tomorrow 31 August.
Destinations indicated are based on information received at the JCC and may change based on commercial activity.
As of 30 August, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 1.445.016 metric tons. A total of 133 voyages (73 inbound and 61 outbound) have been enabled so far.
The JCC concluded today six inspections on inbound vessels: GENERAL POLAD HASHIMOV (IMO 9575307), KAN 2 (IMO 9154268), LADY PERLA (IMO 9149732), MY MERAY (IMO 9000302), SEA DOLPHIN C (IMO 9486427), and VITIS (IMO 9000613).
As per procedures agreed at the JCC, all participants coordinate with their respective military and other relevant authorities to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
The JCC monitors closely the passage of commercial vessels through the maritime humanitarian corridor.

It comprises senior representatives from the Russian Federation, Türkiye, Ukraine and United Nations and its role is to enable the safe transportation, by merchant ships, of grain and other foodstuffs and fertilizers from three key Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea to the rest of the world.
